Hi everybody! My name is Gary Frank and I'm a young aspiring artist. Okay, I lied, 45 years old, but still going after the artist angle.In May of 2007, my wife and I were in Vegas, and while walking the strip every day, we observed some guys doing a cool form of art--spray painting from ordinary spray cans right onto a poster board. Within a short time, they were coming up with some amazing paintings. Needless to say, I was intrigued by this, and in June, I went out and got a whole bunch of paint cans and went at it. I had no idea the first batch or two as to what I was doing, but started to get a feel for things along with the help of a wonderful site called http://www.spacepaintings.com/, and other tips and tricks from around the web. I've done a few hundred paintings in the last year or so, and I'm getting the hang of it. I would like to share some of my stuff for viewing and helpful criticisms, or any comments you have.... I've sold a few so far and given many away as gifts, and I am looking forward to doing an art fest or two in hopes of perhaps doing some more sales and spreading this whole form of great art around...While some of you may have seen this type of art before(it's been around for years) or not it's really interesting >>>so take a look at my attempts at it so far and surf around the web for many more artists and cool videos--youtube.com and the like........some of the paintings are done in fluorescent paint and they really come to life under a blacklight,even some of the regular paintings spark up under the light(but not all).........To see more stuff go to http://s236.photobucket.com/albums/ff270/garball/ home page-.......there you can view several hundred different types of paintings,candleholder/vases,painted frames/mirrored and glass pieces,toilet seats,cd towers,shelves,and much more>>some may be doubles or taken under blacklight but it should give you an idea of the range of styles that are available...have recently been expanding the art to different objects --even did my garage door and the back door of my van(will see if it holds out in the exteme weather).......there's almost no end to what can be painted....if you see something you like or have a request just hit me up and we can discuss what you like........thanks again and enjoy!.................for a musical tour>>> click on the ''ARTWORK section on top,scroll down to the palm tree toilet seat and just click,search around, sit back and listen
